Overall Vision
Originality Technique ImpactWhat a beautiful shot! There is a heart warming softness to this shot that invites the viewer.
The colours are warm and subtle. The light violets and blues contrast well with the vibrant orange bands on either side, echoed in the horizon. The composition is great and I love the texture in the water towards the foreground. The symmetry is pleasing to look at and draws the eye to the horizon.
In terms of technique the exposure is not to bright or to dark and adds to the mood of the scene. The sharpness in the horizon contrasts the overall softness of the piece. There's some noise but not enough to detract in any way from the shot.
I gave 4 stars for originality, only because i've seen similar compositions, but the actual scene and the subtleties of colour still make it a beautiful shot that is none the less interesting and inviting <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="
